the car has 35k miles on it and i got it for 12k cuz i work at carmax and it was in the bak lot (not the front because of the flowmasters and the two missing cats they cant sell it in the front lot) so the same car was out front for 18,999 i got it for 12gs... not a bad deal at all i suppose....also i looked up the info on the car in the office and sum ladie sold it to us and was the only owner so i kno now y the cars in such great shape :-) ....and thanx for the compliments guys

i have a hard time believing your story dude...why would the "lady" who owned the car before you, rip off the cats and put flwmtrs on it? And why in God's name would the company you work for not just put the cats back on the car and sell it for a boat load more money. that makes no sense to me....anyways good luck with it, i've got an 02 that has been great so far.

werewolf the company (carmax) dosnt wanna spend time or money on this car. it is a huge car sales company and they have plenty of cars to sell and make money on. (this is wat my boss told me). i did look up the info in the buyers office where i work and the person who the car was registerd to and the name on the title was a woman. i also looked up the autofax and found that she was the only owner.. this isnt the only car that we have in the bak lot for such a good $$ theres plenty ..u see cars that are "modified" painted or have to many miles or are older than 8 or 10 years cannot b sold in the front lot ..only stock cars that have passed our inspection. also a butt load of rebuilt titles and salvages are out in the bak... in sum cases in good condition too..these cars are held in the bak lot until mondays when we have auto auctions and sell these cars to smaller dealers... only people from dealers or employees buy these cars.... these are wat we call wholesale cars

i hope that clears up the story 4 u i wasnt trying to show off or make up sum story to eat **** ... im just xcited about my stang and i wanted to share my xcitement....

((thanx mach gt great lookin burnout..lol))

Default WHERE's MY SH(T???????

thx for the lecture on wholesale cars, but i used to work for skyline auto auction and they did similar stuff, however it was usually only on the cars that the dealers didn't want. if a car needed something to make it "dealer worthy" they fixed it..and made a ton more $$$ on the vehicle...sounds like this company is either much, much larger than skyline (or just more retarded) ...and i guess the woman who's name was on the title bought that car for her spoiled little son, who then BEAT THE ***** OFF IT :MEGA1: , and probably got way too many speeding tickets, so mommy then proceeded to sell it to carmax. And i guess that's where you come in :icon_thum but don't tell me to eat sh*t toolbox...that is just not cool, especially coming from a guy who couldn't afford to buy new :violent1:

either way congrats, cause it's a nice ride...

Biker, my fault, i did miss read your email...but most would have said to eat sh(t, so i bugged....forgive me

as for what i bought on mustangtuning.com, a couple of quiet mufflers and a shorty black antenna

i'm sick of the straight pipe sound, it's sweet, but gives me a f(cking headache after awhile...plus under hard acceleration...it snap, crackle pops...and it doesn't sound as good

i hope they ship my stuff soon, but to be honest even if they do...their customer service still sux imo :notworthy

I had a similar issue, about 2 weeks ago i bought the chin spoiler, SS inserts, and grill delete kit, then i find out the chin spoiler is out of stock and it will be 3-4 weeks before they have it in. They offered to either credit me the money, sent all the stuff out when the spoiler gets in, or send my other stuff now and ship the spoiler seperatly.

i inquired several times through email, finally i just put a post in the products forum asking what the deal is.

Apparently somone put my order in the wrong stack. they found this out this morning and got it shipped today, i got the tracking number an hour ago'

my advise is to put up a thread in the product forums and ask what the situation is.

This is my... 4? 5th? order from MT? First time i had a problem. I still plan on buyin much much more stuff from them.
Free shipping? Come on! its worth a slight hassle from time to time.
i'm taking your advice, i appreciate it...

hope it works, cause i'm about to cancel this altogether, and go back to shopping at planetperformance, and cali mustang again
