Default 1969 mach 1. original

just got back from a friends house that i havent seen in 35yrs. in the 1970's i remember in his garage a green mustang looking car, well i talk to him( my friend ) and his 75yr old mom for about 2hrs, i ask if they still had that car in their garage, they said yes !
they took me inside the garage and there it was, ALL ORIGINAL 1969 Mach 1. his mom told me she bought the car from a policman with only 150miles on it. she said it has an interceptor engine 351 clevland, thats what the cop told her. it does need some very small regular stuff you would have to repair anyway dashboard new paint job. his mom told me they have not cranked the engine in at least 10yrs. Anybody know what does my friend and his mom have, how much would that car be worth, and its ALL original, nothing has been done to that car since 1969. i would offer to buy it but i know i cant afford it. his mom dosent understand why people keep coming up to her when she has the garage door up and offer her,, she says,,, one person offered her 10k 4 it, another offered her 15k for it. i told her and him not to sell it to anybody untill i find out what they actually have as for has what its worth. Anybody have an idea ?? message me or email me if you know more about what they have sitting in their garage since the 70's.

It CAN be very valuable, but I'd need to know the VIN to really be able to tell you. But its worth more than 10-15k for sure.

The 351 was the small engine for the Mach 1 so don't get super excited about it. If it were a 428 Cobra Jet car, it would be worth a great deal more. NADA's low retail on it with just the 351 option is $21,735 with the average retail at $29,325. Of course private party is going to be a bit less but, that gives you a ball park. Is the car a 4 speed? Does it have A/C and Ram Air? If so, it's pushed to 27k and 37k respectively.
