XBOX 360 console, banned, with *ahem* perks
Figured I'd throw it out there if anyone wants it...
Asking $100+shipping
I have an Xbox 360 console that is banned from XBOX Live that I want to get rid of. However, if you happen to have backups of games you own, or whatever, it'll play those along with your regular retail discs, too.
It's a recent manufactured unit so the RROD issue has been addressed. It was purchased from Dell in August 2009 (had to wait over a month for them to re-stock, they received a new lot of manufactured consoles).
Itll come with the console which has the 256mb memory unit inside, power/av cables, and a controller, everything you need to get up and running.
I'll get pics if you really want them, but it looks just the same as any other 360 Arcade console.

I have a 20gb drive but I use it on my other console. I bought another console after it got banned so I could play online.
I just checked ebay, you can snag 20gb drives for 20-25$, I know gamestop charges more.

Wow, I didn't realize that they could detect that.. Interesting. At least you're not a cheater. Good job.

it actually does a check everytime you boot the console, but when a dash update is applied sometimes they change what is checked and how. everytime theres a dash update, those checks are reviewed to see if the current firmware for the dvd drives is still undectable. apparently, there was a point where it was detectable.
