Default Mach 460 iPod Interface

Hey all,

I'm selling my Peripheral iPod interface for 2001-2003 Mustangs with Mach 460 head units. I purchased this in 2006 from mp3yourcar.com. It works with all iPods with dock connectors except for the iPod Touch / iPhones. You can control your iPod with the head unit controls (next song, previous song, pause and play), and it charges your iPod whenever it is plugged in. It plugs into the CD changer port on the back of the head unit, and requires you to splice into the wiring harness for 12v power. I can include two RadioShack Tap-In squeeze connectors that make it really easy to splice into the harness without cutting/soldering/taping or anything.

I paid $200 for this, and they still sell it for $150. I'm asking $60 shipped for it. Please reply to this thread or send me a PM if you're interested or have any questions.

Thanks!

Unfortunately not. None of the shuffle models have a dock connector.

Can somebody clarify, is the mach 460 head unit just the basic head unit? My factory stereo didn't come with a 6 disc changer does it still have the port on the back for 1?

No, the Mach 460 HU has the 6 disc changer. I don't believe this will work with your head unit.

No, unfortunately Ford changed the ports on the back of the HU in '04, so this device is not compatible.
