Default Squeak Squeak !

On my 97 GT, i was driving today and all of a sudden a loud squeak or squeel came fron somewhere up front. it sounded like the warning tab on the brakes but i wasnt hittin the brake. it would do it once in a while when the car was stopped too at idle. it is a short sound also, does it just for a sec. it didnt seem to do it as much at higher rpm(above 2k) and it didnt drive weird at all.it was doin it more often and continuous just before i got home.
any ideas fellas? i greatly appreciate any help.

Check your belt, tensioner pulley or idler pulley.
