Default headers

Ok guys well I was wondering if anyone could help me out with my header choice. I know JBA or FRPP will fit but which ones will work. My friend gave me some BBK shorties but I know they wont work without modifying them.

I just put mine in last weekend but I am running lean. Anyone know of how to adjust timing with a SCT SF3 tuner? And another question what is the temp that everyone seems to be running? Mine with the mechanical gauge runs between 200 and 212.

My setup is forged internals, 4.5cc dish pistons, 24lb injectors, stock intake with adapter plates, bbk 78mm throttle body, cold air intake, spec stage 2+ clutch which seems to be easier than the stock clutch.

How long do they need the car for mock up? I'm not far away, live in Murfreesboro, TN. Although I have a QA1 k-member so mockup wouldn't help for stock k-member fitment much.

ah i gotcha. are you talking about galv-alum? post more pics/ different angles if you dont mind. heading to az in about two weeks for a family thing and my uncle has a hook-up for borge warner turbos. the centershaft on those things is literally "stupid light" and they hold up well in performance diesel applications. so needless to say, I need thoughts/ help figuring how to run it all.

hey cobra 54. did you ever get your gauges hooked up. I just finished mine but I am still trying to figure out how to wire in the lights to them. Oh and just to throw it out there this thing loves the cold air right now up here in Ohio, now to find a beater before winter hits

My headlights? I never touched them sorry. It was a cobra car to begin with so its all a plug and play so to speak....well except for the intake.

IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excuse the 2 megapixel camera. I had my cannon digi but the batter died 5 secs into recording. This is the 2nd startup. The EEC is trying to find an idle with the new cubes. The speaker on my phone really sucks, very muffled at times.

Next step is to drive it around a little then off to the dyno.

Figured Id post my setup. Ill post pics and vids soon.

5.4 'stage 1'
5.4 NA with SHM Cams, stock bottom end, custom long tube headers, Lightning intake with flat plate and GT upper TB/Elbow, stock MAF w/30lb injectors. 260RWHP and 291RWTQ

5.4 'stage 2'
Same as above with the addition of a Vortech V1 S-trim Supercharger with a large FMIC, 3.12" Pulley, 10 psi, 4" Power Pipe, HPX Slot MAF and 50 lb injectors 437RWHP and 416 RWTQ

NA it was pretty fast, with the SC it flies! Gets hard to shift on the top end with the stock T45. Just installed a WOT box and now shifts are like butter at WOT.
