Default X Pipe Performance

:helpsmili ok i am considering the SLP off road x-pipe for my 97 gt.
my car has 6 cats on it from the factory i was wondering if an x pipe will make a noticeable/feelable diffrence since there will be no cats, does anybody know?

it'll definately free up some restrictions. i can't believe you have 6 cats thats insane. I know 99-04 have 4. I got the SLP Xpipe but catted, it'll also pull a little harder in the upper RPM's

In california its illegal for cars to be shipped there without 6 cats. Theres a few other states that have rules like that and if you have the original EPA sticker or window sticker, it will tell you some of the other ones. I know you guys have SUPER strick emission laws so id check with your local community before buying an xpipe without cats. If you go through emmisions without cats you will fail and your car wont be allowed to be registered again, or you can be fined.

Its not fords fault, its californias fault.
