Default Why wouldnt this fit?

I found a new K&N intake that i was going to buy, it says that it will fit a 2000 so i called to see if it would fit my 04 and they said that it was not listed as being compatible.... Shouldnt it fit mine if it fits the 2000?

I've ran into this with several poroducts. The catalog hasn't been updated for awhile and niether has the database.Look at K&N's site and see what it says.I'll bet the part numbers are even the same.

they are slightly different, the connector going into the fender well is slightly longer than 00. You can make it fit though
