I need to replace this part of my stang, but i dont know the name of it in english, i want to search it online to have an idea of how much the damage will be ;P
So if any1 knows whats the name of it ill REALLY appriciate if you could tell me, attached is a picture with an arrow that points DIRECLY to the part.
Its a Black hard plastic cover that "covers" all the engine, in spanish is something like "multiple of admission"

Thanx for the info man!
although thats not my car, i searched google for an image of a 2000 stang's engine, so i could illustrate the example, my 2000 stang its 100% stock @ the engine.
Yah it has a SMALL but annoying crack on the upper right corner if your looking at the engine as the picture angle, the coolant fluid is leeaking from there, and from time to time its getting my Spark plug wet. So i have to take it out and clean it.. getting REALLY annoying.
Could you tell me more about that "bulliten" its like a warranty?
im in mexico, dont quite undestand the "bulliten" therm.
Thanx again amigo!

if nothing else it's a relatively cheap part you can pick up for about $150US from ebay or one of the boards. I don't know if the bulletin would have a chance of being valid in Mexico... I can't see really advanced consumer protection laws in the land of institutionalized corruption (no offense but really... that's the reputation Mehico has).
Check out my buddy Ken over at speedconcepts.net, http://www.speedconcepts.net/product...roducts_id=415
he's selling his PI intake kits for 179. Tell him that r3dn3ck from WH sent you and he'll hook you up on the price a little.
It's an easy swap you can do in the driveway. Good luck.

Last time I was in mehico there weren't too many big expensive american cars... particularly mustangs. How is it that one found its way to you if you don't mind me asking. I've seen a few from Europe, 2 from Scandanavia and at least one in Turkey but I've not seen anyone in Mexico driving a Stang. Cmon' tell us.

LOL well this is NOT a big dusty ranch as you ALWAYS see in movies.
In my city, Guadalajara, the 2nd bihggest city in Mexico, we have AT LEAST 6 Ford Dealers, in which you can find from JAGUARS, Land Rovers, MG's and all the FORD cars aswell.
also 3 or 4 BMW Dealers, 3 mercedes, 1 porche, 7 chevrolet (with cadillac and Hummer dealers)
we also have peugeot, volvo, Acura, Nissan and more i cant remember now.
On the streets, oN EVERY stop light u AT LEAST see 1bmw 1 mercedes, and and a volvo.
If you were here, u would be impressed of the amount of EXPENSIVE cars on the streets, not to mention the cars here are AT LEAST 40% more expensive than in the states.
For examample the new mustang 2006 GT is is around 30,000 us dlls
here in my city, also have the club mustang, which is the 2nd biggest in mexico, in the club, we have members with 2005's and one guy that JUST bought the convertible. So you see ALOT of stangs, i have seen alot with 20's weels and HID lights, the look SO KOOL!
I hope that this small piece of imformation change your prespective on how you see or "imagine" mexico.

the bigger cities is a nicer look for Mexico, the border towns do it NO JUSTICE whatsoever. i havent been to the big cities in Mexico but i have family that has like Mexico City, your town(thats easier to say than try to spell it,lol) border towns give Mexico a bad rap and image

Oh yah ABSOLUTLY agree, thats why most americans have that image of mexico, because of the border towns and the DAMN people illegally crossing the border.
The border towns are extremly bad looking. and the people crossing the border, man, those are like the last piece of chain in mexico. People with NO education whatsoever, that the only thing they know is how to plant seeds and stuff.
it gives REALLY REALLY bad reputation to mexico, i mean we're are not all brown hairish, with black mustache and short.
I bet i look more amercian than you LOL 6ft white as hell, green eye lol.
But yah, guadalajara its a GREAt city, it has trees EVERYWHERE, i think must be one of the best cities of mexico.

I don't go to border towns and I also stay FAR away from the biggest cities. I like to stay in small towns or just camp out in the bush. I just never ever saw much in the way of modern american and japanese cars last time I was there (fully 10 years ago). There were more VW's than I ever thought possible but nothing more interesting. I'm glad to see that the mexican economy is able to support a better average lifestyle than I was aware of. I'm surprised that the american cars are selling for so much... What's the peso trading at now anyway?
Hey... take some pics of your town, show us the nice side. I'd love to see what the last 10 years of progress has brought.
by the way, I wasn't ripping on you or your country. I grew up in southern california 20 minutes from the border, I know the difference between your average mexican and a border jumper. Even poor hondurans make fun of border jumpers.
EDIT: And what kind of major industries are in Guadalajara? Film, farming, tourism, etc... The money has to be coming from something. Did I miss a great investment opportunity in Mexico because I skipped the big cities?
