Default shocks/struts

before i buy a set i would appreciate some input...

1) Are the kyb agx adjustable shocks/struts a good brand??

2) Is this a "do it yourself" project?

3) What other stuff do i need to do the shock/strut install...meaning can i just buy the shocks and struts from MT and do the complete install or do i need anything else??

If you can do springs by yourself & friend, you can do shocks/struts. KYBs are entry level shocks/struts. Personally, for 400 bucks, id fork out another 125 and buy the tokico d-spec's instead. I seen a pair on ebay for 525 shipped.

I had KYB's on my 96 GT and they were better than the stock ones. The back shocks seemed to realyy do a good jiob., However he fronts were a little less desireable. The front adjustment "Slot" actually striped out and it was a pain to move it. The lowes setting still dd not give a Soft ride and, and the highest level Seemed a little too soft still. This was in combination of Roush springs and swaybars. Hope this helps.
