Default window switch with nitrous oxide.

If anyone can tell me about a 2004 mustang gt. window switch. Baker electronix has one that you tell them where you want the window. I was thinking 3000 to 6000 and then set my rev limit to 6200. would that be enough, incase I miss a shift? I have 4.10 gears with a 5-speed and I need the nitrous to shut off so in case I miss a shift I wont have the nitrous on. Right?Am I thinking the right rpms that this event should be taking place?
Thanks.

didnt you already post this somewhere else?

what kind of nitrous kit will you be running? i believe a lot of the kits come with the window switch already. or you can buy one from the company that made the nitrous kit.

I guess it will be a wet nx kit for x-mas,That is what I yhink I want. But that still doesnt tell my rev limit and where my window should be....

if you're not really sure what kit you want, you might want to look into the venom vcn 1000 here. it has a computer control module that i believe controls everything so you dont have to worry about that switch (somebody correct me if im wrong). somebody already replied on your other thread about your rev limit.

Increasing the rev limiter is one of the quickest ways to blow your motor, especially on nitrous.

I'd stick with the 6K limiter and run the window switch from 3000-5500

Neither will get you through the 1/4 mile w/ 4.10's. My rev-limiter is @ 6500 and the window switch is @ 3400 & 6200 to ensure I'm on the nitrous and not near the rev-limiter in the traps. Hitting the 6500 limiter without a load, such as in a missed shift will not cause lower end damage

thats whyi have a good 450rpms before my car hits the stock limiter so the nitrous will be out of the motor by then.
