Speed calibrator

Question Speed calibrator

i have had people say i need a speed clibrator for the gear swap i want to do but i have also been told it could be done with only a tune and i have no clue which i need and if it is the calibrato then where can i find one and how much do they usally run and also what install kit would i need to put it in as far as shims and all that

it's either or.

if you dont have a handheld tuner like the predator or sct x-cal 2, you need a speedcal, if you have the tuner you can do it with that..

you can buy one right here at mustang tuning

you would probably need the master bearing kit since you have a 96

how much of a pain is it to put the calibrator in and also should i put like an eaton posi in or somthing while i got it apart should i just buy one of the kits that is in the shop on this site and if so what would yall sugest and thanks for the help guys

well according to MT "It is an easy to install part that is very accurate and reliable"

Personally Id buy the gear package with the SCT2. If you are going to upgrade your posi, go with easton IMO.
