Arrow plasma booster

couple of questions about the plasma booster for anyone using one..........first off i've been looking at the installation pics on some sites and was wondering if the only wires you have to splice into is the lead wire on the coil...second is it really worth it,ive heard that the coil on plug system is strong enough for most mods on the 4.6......i'm running on the 7th of oct and going to spray 150 maybe 175 and looking for extra spark to make sure i can burn the extra N2O and fuel,,new fuel pump is going on this weekend with a set of et streets!!

You are going to destroy your engine with that big of a shot if its not built for it.

I know guys whop spray 150 on stock engines that 175 is nuts even to me though.

But yeah the plasma booster sucks and is just snake oil. Your stock ignition is actully really good. If you really think you need to kenny Belle makes a Boost-a-Spark that will help to kick it up a bit.

Plasma booster are junk. I've heard a few horror stories about them, messing up engines...
PS: If you spray a big shot like that, you will blow your intake to pieces. The stock plastic intake will not take a shot that big.

Yea, cool it on the nitrous shot there buddy (no pun intended) lol. Ive heard also of some motors getting toasted because of the plasma boosters. Just buy a boostaspark if you are worried like someone else said, damn, I just realized my whole post is redundant...

hopefully i won't blow the intake to pieces....i put a bullitt intake on a couple weeks ago......the 175 shot will only happen after i spray the 150 and check the plugs.hopefully i'll be able to pull the plugs after the pass and not be trying to find a tow home.... thanks for the input on the plasma booster. i was totally in the dark on it........

our factory ignition is the best to come on a mustang ever, you don't need to waste your money on that worthless thing.

HAHA 175 shot on stock internals?!?!?!? Have you even had the spray on that car before?? The engine will break. What kind of system do you plan on using? I hope not the zex kit. Theres a reason why that kit is 75-125 horespower. The air fuel ratio gets worse as you add more spray. The 75 shot has a perfect a/f but the 100 gets a little out of whack and the 125 shot is not too safe with the stock tune. If you try to run a 175 shot with that zex kit you will break your engine. You would have to run some extremely cold plugs with a big pump. The stock tune is out of the question. That nozzle that the zex kit comes with doesnt distribute the mixture very well at high flow. Get this ----->Click Me

150 shot is ok but SPEND THE CASH to make sure it's tuned right!!!!!! a few hundred for tuning it better than a few K for a new engine

i've got a diablo tune on the car for nitrous use......... i'm running 2 stage colder plugs and i replaced the zex nozzle when i first got the kit 'cause it was chipped on the end..i've got the NOS Fogger Nozzle........and like i said i'm gonna run the 150 shot first and pull the plugs to see how they look........if they don't look favorable i'll put a larger fuel jet in and skip out on the 175.......
