Default Just Got My 03' Cobra 2 Days Ago!!!!

Yep, I just got it. Its an 03' 10th Anneversary Cobra. Its Red with the Red and black seats. I bought it used with 9,300 miles on it. The thing is practically brand new. There isnt a scratch on it and every part of the car is spotless. The last owner even left the plastic covers over the floormats!! Im gonna keep them on there too. It looks as if its been sitting in a garage for the past 2 years. I just claybarred it and waxed it yesterday.

I traded in the 03' GT I had for it. I figured if I was gonna spend so much money fixing it up then why not just spend some extra every month for one that is already how I want my car. It was so worth it too. The car is fast as hell and its bone stock. I was coming down an onramp to the interstate so I decided to punch it and within a matter of seconds the speedometer was at 130mph!!! With my old GT I would have had to put it to the floor for like what seemed forever to get it up that fast. I havent topped it out yet but Im sure itll do at least 155 or 160. I already claimed 2 victems last night. On the way home from a meeting on the interstate I waxed this Trans Am and a Twin Turbo 300ZX. I think im gonna go easy on the snake for awhile though. Just until the track opens back up. What times should I expect in the 1/8th mile and in the 1/4 mile? Keep in mind Ill have A K&N FIPK and a cat back by then.

How much did you pay for it? I'm curious.

Well they wanted 28,900 for it at first but I talked em down to 26,000. It was a good deal. The book value on that thing is 31,000.

The snake times at the track very quite a bit. Expect from 12.6 to 13.5. Reason is that it really is a harder car to drive and launch especially with the IRS. With practice the car is really quick. I think they trap at 108 or 110 stock.

Sounds good, 26000 for a 2003 Cobra anniversery in top condition with only 9k miles.

These things are going to be the ultimate muscle car used buy in a couple years when they are only 16-18k.
