Installation issues!
Well i am looking for shopes to install my catback system! And so far i got a mustang shop chrgin me 150-180 bucks for the install! Then have another shop called the muffler shop chargin me 125, and then i went to midas, and they said 90 bucks!! Well id like to go to the mustang shop because they work on stangs ALOT, but is that price to steep?? And the muffler shop has like young teenage kids workin there! And one of the employees would prolly hate me because his car his stang is "ricey" and made a comment on it! So i dont wanna get screwed by him! And midas seems tooo cheap! Please hep guys, which route would you take.... and IM NOT GOING TO INSTALL BY MYSELF, sorry!! lol

My 'pinion
The Mustang Shop is busy - most small specialty shops don't publish prices - they slide up when they're overwhelmed with work, in the middle when they have about as much as they want, and drop like a stone when they're hungry. Sounds like your local shop is full up, and the price if just to make you go away.
Sounds like the muffler shop is a good place to avoid.
Midas at $90 sounds fishy. Those guys have more ways of adding on hidden charges than you'd believe. Since I have a personal grudge against these jerks (long story involving a 96 Taurus and a $660 alternator job), I may not be the best guy to listen to about Midas. Needless to say, I went out and toasted their demise when the shop closed last year - hope it was partly due to my bad-mouthing them every chance (including this one) I get.
Best suggestion is keep looking. Find a muffler shop with old, ugly guys with filthy hands working in an old, ugly shop that's been there forever.
You'll probably pay about $100, total, and you'll have to scrub all the dirty fingerprints off your car - but the job will be done right.

Join a club
Just checked out the MCA site (http://www.mustang.org/regional_clubs.cfm?state=VA). There are at least 10 Mustang clubs in your state, one of which probably lays claim to your town. Check them out - bet you they know a few places you can get your work done. Joining the MCA (internationa Mustang Club of America) costs $30 a year, and you get a decent magazine every month included. Good buy, in my book. Some regional clubs (like the list I noted above) require national membership - some don't. Most clubs have small dues of about $20 year. Good way to hang out with friends with similar cars, and learn a lot to boot.
Hope this helps. Virginia's a nice state - bet you have a club that you can join near you.

Man save the cash and just install it yourself, it is pretty easy just need a few basic tools, couple of cold ones and a few hours. If you live close to Columbus GA ill help you do it for free. After working my sales job all week turning a wrench on sundays is the best stress relief.
