Default Mercury Marauder Reliable Power

I have a 2004 Mercury Marauder.
i was wondering if anyone had any input on how to get reliable power?
i am looking to get around reliable 450whp.
i have looked into some super charging systems and pro charging systems but im still not quite sure what to do.
i expect to spend about $5000-$6000

Your engine is basically a Cobra engine, minus the blower (the internals may be weaker also). The easiest way would be to add the Cobra set-up, but using the latest version of the Eaton blower (like found in the GT500 and ZR1 vs. the 03/04 Cobra). But, the best way would be with a more displacement so that you are running less boost (also beneficial in a heavy car, as the low end picks up too). If the latter route is desired, a 5.4 does work (I think I remember someone in the 5.4 thread that did this). But, a 351 fits in there nicely and given the support for it, may be easier/cheaper to make that kind of power.
