If your going to do something do it right. I'd really like to save up for a set of TrickFlow heads, cams, and the proper supporting mods.

This.

The best way to do it IMO is to do heads, cams, and LTs all at the same time. Otherwise if you cut one of those out you're leaving a restriction point and not getting your full money's worth, even if you are spending more money overall.

Degreeing is a PITD but pays off in the end. Sound like that shop was just lazy. Personally, I wouldnt use stock springs with a motor that will spin up to 6500. I also would of bought a supercharger instead, wait, I did.
