...and added blue cathode lights under my shaker. Turned out pretty good, except I broke one of the the damn light tubes somehow. Thanks again to AREA 51 for giving me some pointers. Well here are the night time pics. Sorry the pics are kinda dark, but I had to turn off my flash or you couldnt see the lights in the pics.

I dont want too many lights in there, just wanted something subtle. I do need a few more just to brighten it up a little bit more though.

yes... subtle... I think its do-able IF you line it near the bottem... AND wire it so they only come on when the hood id open (run it off the hood light)

I wired my lights to a switch in the center console. Plus my car didnt come with a hood light, ford deemed(sp?) that they werent necessary.

FIRST OFF THAT LOOKS GREAT!!!

Do you have 1 pair on each side (2 tubes) or 1 tube on each side? I have 2 tubes on each side with a transformer for each

I started with the idea of putting more light in the engine bay but it ended up being too much. This under the shaker stuff is just right. You have to see it in person to get the full effect or get someone who can get good night pics. mine looked way tooooo busy, on the verge of rice with more light so I took them out

before with whole engine bay lit

end result with just shaker cathodes

It only looks good because you have the "shaker" intake acting like a lamp shade...

I have 2 tubes on the left and 1 tube on the right. I accidently broke one tube, so I just ordered another tube.

If you found a way to make it work what color would you get? if you had all 8 colors on the lot which would you pick?

I liked the black ones. What swervo did to his is exactly what I would want for mine. The blue flame highlights are perfect imo. For me this is my first stang and I just wanted power. It wasnt until I owned it for a few weeks that I realized what I bought. I didnt do much research. It consisted of calling my best friend who is a ford guy and asking him "whats this mach 1 thing?" his answer was simple "DRIVE IT" and the rest it history.

the 01 cobras are rated higher from the factory than the machs are. I think they are around 320 at the crank from factory and thats underated. the machs are 305
