I was looking more into the x pipes and found out that the bassani's x pipe has metal pipes, while the magna x pipe is ceramic pipes? What is this all about? jw

Does anyone have a clue of what the ""quiet thunder"", ""street comp"", and ""racing"" series bassani's are about?? I have heard the quiet thunder, but havent heard the others?? Here is the clip of the QT series exhaust with bassani x pipe! http://www.mustangexhaust.com/sounds...cats,stock.mp3

They are just different types of mufflers from Bassani. You will have to go to thier site to find out the real difference is.

Yea you really can't go with alot of the sound clips you hear on alot of the sites but a Bassani X will sound good with a Bassani CB but check out this article on catback comparisons and you might not spend all that money on Bassani.

if this helps, i have the bassani and two of my friends have the upr x-pipe. they both have clearance problems over speed bumps and such. all three cars are lowered about the same, but you can look under the cars and tell the difference, theirs hangs alot lower. I installed all three and the bassani to me is made better, more workmanship. plus the bassani if you get the catted one comes with straight pipes to replace the bolted in cats(slp is the same way), plus i have the stainless version, but i paid two hundred more. there is not alot of difference in sound except at idle mine might be alittle louder. and we are all running flowmasters.
