Default Upr o/r x pipe leak?

I just recently installed a Upr o/r x pipe on my 03 gt. The problem Im having is where it meets up to the drive side exhaust manifold, its bolted up straight and not at an angle but its still leaking. I bought it used and not sure if I need to use a o-ring gasket in that spot or is it just supposted to mate up. It dose have the flared end on it. And before anyone asks I have adjusted it a few times.

i had that issue with both my mac o/r h and when i had a upr o/r x pipe- adjusted it a dozen or so times and then just cranked the hell out of it and tightened it reaaal tight eliminating the leak.

how low does your X pipe hang? i got one, and i am afraid to put it on in the fear that it will get scratched to hell, or bent on a bump.

You should be able to adjust that. Get a jack, put it in the center of the x-pipe jack it up and then tighten everything up. My O/R X hangs higher than my factory pipe believe it or not.

I was having a problem myself with some small leaks on the driverside connection. You can get some copper exhaust sealant they sell at most parts stores. Just put some on the header connection and then bolt up the pipe and fallow the directions on the tube of what to do afterwards. For mine I had to start the car up and let it idle for 20 mins to cure. Then let it sit overnight and no more leaks. That was over 4 years ago.
