Default exhaust question with vids

alright, so i was looking at the underside of my car and noticed a missing section of my exhaust. seems that the h pipe is there then it comes out a little more, then a gap between the catback i think? not too familiar with what everything looks like, but here are two links to a couple vids i took.

does this mean the guy that owned it before me cut a section out?

Does the pipes have sharp edges where it was cut and does your car have catalytic converters?

Lol could you not notice the loudness of it?? It looks like it pretty much has dump pipes. That's pretty retarded lol. Not to you, but the other guy.

they dont look sharp, looks clean, and i did notice the loudness, but he told me there was aftermarket exhaust on it, not that he just decided to hack a section out of it. and im pretty sure there are cats a little before the h part... if those are cats, i thought they were supposed to be farther back, but they look like cats.

can anyone tell me which section was cut out of? the end of the h pipe of the front of the cat backs? guess it doesnt matter really, gonna reaplce it all this summer, but just for curiosity sake.

From what I see you have Cats and then after the mid pipe (looks to be a stock H-pipe from what little you can see) they cut out the mufflers and left the rest of the catback there to look like it has mufflers. Pretty freaking stupid setup.

Just get a new catback of whatever kind you like and you will be good to go. Or have some mufflers welded up and connected to the tail pipes.

This would be your best option. Just have some mufflers welded in.
