Default x pipe?

my next mod is probably going to be an xpipe...i currently have 2.25 inch flowmaster mufflers on my gt. Will a 2.5 inch xpipe fit this? I was thinking either bassani or magnaflow xpipe with cats? will that sound good with flowmaster 40series? thanks

Just depends on which x pipe you chose and how it will sound. If you go with a bbk x and flows, it will sound like crap, but if you go with the MT or UPR x pipe, it will be magical sounding. I love the right x pipe with flows, but prochambers are betta...lol

yeah i was thinking about going with either a magnaflow xpipe or a upr. Which do you guys think? I am leaning more towards the upr because i can get the xpipe w/ cats and mil eliminators for a total of around $300...where the magnflows are gonna cost around $500. Is upr really just as good as a company though and will the xpipe give me the performance i want?

I have the SLP X-pipe w/ cats. It sounds good w/ my 40 series, but with the Steeda sport springs it is WAY to low to the ground. I am thinking about getting rid of it just b/c I can't drive over anything!!

Have you tried loosening the bolts and jacking it up with a jack and tightening the bolts up some more? Shouldnt hang too low?
