Default Steeda CAI

hey, today i was trying to install CAI and i notice that the intake tube that steeda supplied didn't have the hole for the IAT sensor. so i was wondering is it possible to drill a hole through the tube and then install the IAT sensor or should i just forget it and return it to get a new one. thanx

Call Steeda before you change anything and talk to one of their tech people. They could have sent you the wrong part or the manufacturer could have messed up.You never know,Steeda might even chip in something free for all the trouble this has caused.Always ask,a T shirt or some other small token of their appreciation for a loyal customer isn't out of line.

I have the K&N and they supplied info to drill the whol ( size of drill bit, and location) and a grommet for the sensor...but i dunno how it would fit in the steeda w/o the grommet, and if its the metal tube if you can drill...
