Default Miss spoke

Need posi unit as it sits now traction control just makes the big s on take off stay controlable I have a big need to launch straighter,Car get about 10 miles a month and as it gets more aggresive that goes down Runs a solid high 12 but feels like I'm losing so much on launch.Anything that will help cause with a pro charger coming it will get worse.

what are your mods? sounds tome like you need some suspension and chassis work, a set of real rear tires (slicks) or ALL the above.....

Randy thats my problem being the second owner runs great no traction on take off. It is na cams sound beefed but at 1280s not complaining just thinking if it hooked how much better it could be.New motor being built hopefully I will have a answer why this one runs so strong.By top end I don't see anything that special.Friends have almost the same set up and push for a mid 13.Guess when this motor is torn apart I will see if the bottom has had work.

let me sea if I got this straight, your pulling 1.50 in 60' on a "35" series D/R, spinng 1st, 2nd and into 3rd, and running 12.80's N/A? at what miles per hour?
something doesn't sound right, esp those 60' times

When you drag race, you NEVER leave the TC on. It's more of a PITA than help. What you want for better traction is suspension work. Boxed control arms, stiffened chassis/torque boxes, drag shocks/springs, etc. That will help the hook up a ton. The way you would tell if you posi is out is w/ the TC off, if you do the the one-wheel peal, then you need a new one. However, you can just rebuild it instead of getting a new one.

As for the times, 1.5 60' is pretty damn amazing for a NA car, so amazing that it's suspicious.

Judging by his car and mods, if he had a 1.5 60' he'd be doing way better than 12.80s.
