Default Clutch Suggestions

Alright, somehow my Spec Stage 2 clutch didn't even last 10k miles of pretty conservative driving. I need to replace it, and I want to go with something that'll is pretty grippy (I like more of an on/off clutch) and will also last. Anybody have suggestions?

Thanks!

Center Force is a very good setup. Your Spec only lasted 10000

Call up Mike Mak TPS Motorsports and get one of their custom Kevlar clutches. i use it (well... mine is an Apex clutch but they're the same thing... Apex shut down and TPS took its place) and it's wonderful. holds up to 800hp and it's pretty forgiving. Has great on/off quality if you dump the clutch but otherwise it's just as easy to drive as any other street clutch.

They're expensive but worth it.

10k on a spec stage 2? did you machine the flywheel when you did the install? if you didnt that can cause a clutch to go bad pretty quickly. either that or you didnt get the adjuster kit for it. if you dont get the adjuster kit your clutch will run out of adjustment and burn up.
