Default '01 Cobra Rear-End IRS

OK i have a '01 Cobra with the IRS. i was checking under my front bumper to see if i need to get new fog light bezels, which i do, but i started looking under the rear and noticed a small amount of fluid directly under my rear-end. then i looked and could see where fluid seems to be coming from the bolts on the rear-end. last time i drove the car, noticed nothing different. any ideas what could be causing this, maybe it just needs to be checked to see if bolts or loose or something? planning on having gears installed with an whole new bearing kit, could that fix this? thanks for any input and info.

Its the gasket going bad and leaking fluid out. It will get a new bead of silicone when they do the gears so no worries aslong as you have fluid in there.

There's a very common tendency of the aluminum center sections to crack. I've done it a few times. In any case, there's a nice replacement unit for sale on the San Francisco area craigslist for cheap. Grab it while you can.

Make sure all the bolts in the area are good and snug.
