Default Fuel Rail Plumbing Question

I have a set of billet fuel rails and regulator that I am trying to install on my 96 GT, return style. The kit came with a 90 degree fitting that attached to the stock feed line (springlock).

I am wondering if this scenario will work properly:

-Attach this 90 degree springlock fitting to my feed line.
-Thread this fitting into the rear of my passenger side fuel rail.
-Crossover to the driver's side in the front.
-Plumb a line from the rear of the driver's side rail to one of the inlet ports of the regulator.
-Plug the other inlet on the regulator.
-Plumb a line from the bottom of the regulator back to my stock return line.

I haven't seen any online instructions suggesting to set up the lines this way, so I just wasn't sure about having the regulator enter the system after both rails, although it appears that this is basically how the stock system is setup. Going this route will minimize the additional pieces that I currently have to buy. I am still NA, but need to replace my stock rails anyway, so I figure what the heck.

Thanks for any input.

Scott

That setup would work just fine.
