My ac compressor is bad on my 99 gt, im going to replace the compressor myself probably with a used one. What motors/vehicles can i take a compressor out of and use on my car. Obviously the 4.6 is used in lots of ford cars, trucks, vans so i would think i could use one off of any 4.6 but what about the 5.4, can i use one from that motor?

 

im not sure but the crownvics are very similar.
