My experience may be different from yours. I have a feeling that when I ordered my Prochamber, I may have received the wrong year cause I had sealing issues where the pipe connects to the LTs. Mine was a 1 piece but I've seen the same shorty P/C that was 2 pieces that would have worked better with my App.

I had Mac LT's when I first put on my shorty 1 piece prochamber but I had issues even after I put on the BBK's I have now. I eventually had to get a shop to cut and fit the prochamber to have it seal right. This being said, IF you get the prochamber now and get LTs later, I would just have it cut to fit. However, I'd just wait till you put on LT's before you get the mid pipe. It sucks buying things twice. This coming from someone that's had 2 sets of LT's, every midpipe configuration you can think of, and now on my third catback. FWIW, the prochamber sounds great. I got the O/R and couldn't be happier.

you will need to get a new mid pipe cause the long tubes stop under teh car instead of half way down the exhaust tunnel.

apache46.....all the mid pipes are the same (shorty and regular) from 1996 to 2004...the only sealing issues could be that when you bolted it up to the exhaust, you cocked it a little bit and thats causing the leak.

No I didn't. It did not fit, period. I didn't put that pipe on once.. I took it off and put it back on numerous times. I have a catted x pipe that sealed just fine. It's hard to explain, but the pipes connecting to the LT's did not line up straight. the pipe needed to be a touch longer and curved inward. I could **** it one way or the other and get one side to seal, but never both at the same time, even with High temp silicone. Even the local mustang speed shop couldn't get it to seal properly.. My pipe looked like the first pic. The second pic is not for LT's and guess what? It's in multiple pieces.. Funny thing is, If I felt like looking for it.. I could find another prochamer that is only two pieces. Guess all the mid pipes aren't the same champ.

Edit: I said that backwards.. My pipe is the SECOND pic. the first pic is for stock length.
