Question Shift problem

Wuz sup ya'll. just wanted to get a quick opinion, i just got an 04 GT manual about 3 weeks ago. The car drives excellent but for some reason the last couple of days i'm having trouble going to 3rd gear, when i go to shift it gets stuck in the neutral part and it doesn't let me shift, i have to retry it again before it lets me. what do ya'll think it might be, yes i put the clutch all the way down, the car is brand new so thats kind of worrying me, any opinions or imput will be appreciated, Thanks

could be a 3rd gear synchro... The shifter doesn't self center well ... it's pretty easy to miss the shift. Stick a short shifter on it and see if it's still a problem.

thats what I would try as well. MGW shifters are nice.

do you have a hydraulic press? If not you can't even begin to make the repair. You'll need a tranny shop to replace the synchros. Also check your clutch engagement. Jack up the back end, release e-brake, put it in 1st gear and hold the clutch in. The rear wheels should not rotate. If your clutch is grabbing while disengaged then it's out of adjustment. That can make it hard to take out of all gears or get it into them.
