Default Steeda side exhaust questions...

First off....if you are idling at a stoplight with the windows down...would the fumes go into your car or do they spray away from it? Also...if you notice the pic of the side exhaust..there is a pair of pipes that are still heading straight backwards(to the back of the car)....what the heck are those pipes for??

also....basically: are they worth it? in terms of looks, performance, sound?

I love the looks and sound of them, but as far as performance, I wouldnt expect anything in this area, but it sure does look good.

Looks good, cost to much money and doesn't yield any more power than any other catback!

i think the pipes that go back are just the back of the mufflers and their hangers. the fumes shouldnt get into your car too bad. no worse than dumps. . performance wise, blah.

A friend of mine had the SVO side exhaust on his car and said that he actually lost power with the side pipes.. For what that is worth..

if you make your own side exhaust its better, for example, a regular catback with straight through mufflers, and just bend the pipe from the back of the muffler to the sides
