Default Loudmouth 1 and 2???

I am going to get loudmouth for my 98 gt and was wondering what is the difference between 1 and 2. (which is louder)?????? Thanks alot

lm 1 is just a hollow tube, while lm 2's have packing in them.

lol they are not a hallow tube. if they were would people really buy them? they both have packing inside only one has alot more soundeding in it.

Actually it is just a hollow tube. No packing whatsoever in loudmouth 1's. here's the link. http://www.slponline.com/modular_exhaust.asp its down at the bottom, just scroll your mouse over them an it shows the inside.

Yup....SLP's are completly empty. Nothing inside at all.

holycrap it is...then what's the point of the resonator if its just hollow...why didnt they just strait pipe it

im just guessing....but if they look like they have resonators....even if they are hollow...any shop will install them...its pretty hard to find a place that will install strait pipes

haha i was lied to by an slp employee he said the regular loudmouth had stuff inside lol what a jackass.

The SLP systems are all precisely tuned. Straight peipes are just that. That is pretty much the difference.
