can i install aftermarket cams in my 98 gt. its a stock engine besides intake and lt's.

 

You sure can, comp makes nice non PI cams for your motor. However it would be wise to go with the PI swap and add cams to the new PI heads. Your heads (96-98 gts) are pretty shitty on flow unless highly ported and even so a set of ported PI heads will outflow them. I would save and get a PI swap kit and then get cams for those heads you will see a monster increase in power.
