Default Rookie Needs help

OK--I have a 99 GT coupe and thought I would get the BBK CAI. I thought this would be a good starting point to help me learn how to work on my car with future mods.

After installing the CAI, I noticed I have an extra sensor with no where to plug it in, as you can see on the pic below.

I am now pulling code P0113 Intake Air Temp.

So, basically my question is, how do I fix this? Is there a sensor I can buy to put in that hole on the CAI?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

did you read the instructions?

that little hole you have plugged halfway up the pipe is where teh IAT sensor goes, the extra cable plugs into it. You should have transferred the sensor from your stock inlet tube.

RTFM.

That varies from year to year. I believed they stopped putting it in the inlet tube in 01. What year is your car?

But anyways, if that connector is right there, then that means the sensor is in your old inlet and you need to switch it.
