Default fake cam sound, fool your friends.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5EH9ikkxQY i want to do it, but i cant figure out which line to unplug and have it stay running. i was thinking the line going into the IAC but that makes it die. the other one that is in the IAC makes it die to, so does this mean the hose that is also coming from my cold air intake to the valve cover?

Doesnt hurt the engine it just makes a big vaccum leak and makes it run to lean and thus it idles crappy and wants to die. Nothing is hurt , but it is kinda stupid kinda like guys who buy nitrous kits just for the purge.

Running your engine lean isnt going to hurt anything? Youll blow the motor, especially reving it to redline. lol

idling it with a big vacuum leak wont hurt anything. You can even rev it and it will be fine as there is no load on the motor. Its different then driving a car when its lean and you have a load on it. its not gonna want to rev anyhow with that big of a leak; it will more then likely die when you try to give it gas like most efi cars.

Internals move when its not moving, just as they move then its driving. I agree, there is more of a strain under load, but the car doesnt have to be moving to lean an engine out.

Its totaly different from "free reving" aka no load on the motor then having a load on the motor such as driving it down the road. Its not going to drive down the road with a huge vaccum leak anyhow. My point is doing it idling wont hurt it it will just run ruff and will likly just stall out.

free rev-ing isn't really great for a motor either. You can break **** like that.
