i just bought the X-Calibrator 2 and 3.73 Gear Kit for my 98 gt from americanmuscle.com. how much power should i be expecting to gain with it?

If you are looking for pure power #'s - nothing.

The Xcal 2 may help a few ponies, but the gears will actually show lower on a dyno.

performance, you will see a good gain as long as you have traction.

i also bought the motive bearing kit. is it possible for me to do this installation at home or should i just go ahead and take it to a pro shop?

If you have the dial indicators and know how to do it, then do it at home, if not the price of install isnt that bad really.

the install isn't difficult it's just something you need experience doing inorder to get it "right"
