Default Service Engine Soon light...just appeared while car off

so ive been in desperate need of changing my fuel filter. i decided to try and tackle this tonight only to run into forgetting to pick up the ford fuel line disconnect tool. well up until that point i had disconnected the fuel pump and the the car run so that there is no fuel pressure in the line. well i hooked everything back up and figured i would do it tomorrow pending the weather holds up. well i go to move my car out of the way cause mom has to leave out early in the morning. well i crank it up starts up no problem mut my Service Engine Soon light comes on.

Well my question is what could have cause this and how can i go about finding out the problem

take it to advance and let them run the codes on it and they will give u an idea, then they will clear the code. and if u start it back up and the code comes up again, then the problems still there, bring ur info back to us and maybe we can help!

Its the code for low(or no) fuel pressure at the rail. Just check and erase the code. It was just set because you ran the car with the pump disconnected and the fuel pressure went to zero.

OP claims to have reconnected everything prior to turning it on

He's referring to the lack of fuel pressure when he was draining the fuel out of the lines. You pull the pump fuse and start the car. The engine uses all of the fuel out of the lines then shuts off. The code for low pressure in the lines occurs when you have the engine running with the pump disconnected.
