Default Best muffler for the burble and gargle when descelerating?

as the title says what do you guys think is the best muffler for this? im getting rid of my lm2's and want a muffler that other people dont have to weld in my slp catback. i was looking at single chamber flows or dynomax race bullets. any other suggestions? my current exhaust is bbk lt headers, o/r h and lm2's. also i have bassani mufflers now that came off a cobra that are center in center out and they dont fit on my car. what offset do i need for my exhaust? i know i will prolly have to get some pipes bent but i took it to 3 shops and they said they couldnt do it. btw i got bassani mufflers for sale. hope you guys know the sound im talking about. deep and i love the popping when decelerating. not raspy. im kinda tired of my lm2's

You lost me....

I would think an H Pipe with either LM1 or LM2 would be the best bet to achieve what you want.

You can try a Mac catted H. I personally dont like the way BBK midpipes sound. I think they make the car sound to raspy.

ok does anyone know where i can get just the borla stinger mufflers? because they are pretty much the same design as slp so they should fit right in.

you need to contact Borla directly and tell them you just want the stinger mufflers. Be prepared as they are pretty expensive at about 130 or so a piece.

since you have a SLP cat back already try the PowerFlos out. They are not as raspy, alittle deeper then the lm2s, quiter then the lm2s however; and gives you a nice bark on the desceleration.

I know what sound your talking about and I have it on my Bullitt, I got bbk o/r x-pipe, with the dynomax Bullett mufflers and its the distinctive sound that hardly anyone knows...especially when you drop it and you get the popping noise

+1 for Flowmasters (the orignal 40's series would prob be best, if not, super 40's). Also, Thrush mufflers, the old school ones (though they'll probably will kill performance slightly).

i just had an off road x-pipe and SLP LM1 and switched to a MAC off road h-pipe with a MAC stainless steel catback and its awesome. it sounds so aggressive and deep yet sooooo loud. i am 19 yrs old and love loud cars but now i have the best of both worlds trust me and go for it!
