ok....my friend has a 92 ford taurus and he wants to make it sound throaty...so he took off the muffler...now his worried about getting pulled over cause he doesnt have a muffler....

so the question i am asking is can someone get pulled over for not having a muffler?(this is in PA)

 

in any state you have to have a muffler. will you get pulled over? well how loud is it really

 

If its loud enough, sure he'll get pulled.

 

Why would anyone do that on a taurus?
