Default Plentum/TB question

O.K.

On you guy's 2v's. is your IAT and/or IAC in the TB/Plenum? or is it elsewere? Also, how well does your guys stock TB/Plem flow?
how much power is it good to?
What is the size of the hole in which the TB fits the the plentum? Can this be enlarged? and do you get larger/smaller ones depending on the size opening of the manifold?

And last, what is the cheapest best flowing TB/Plenum good for 500-600whp?

You crazy modular guys, help me out.

Thanks

ok...

This is taken from the C&L site:
Stock Plenum 466 CFM
Stock Plenum 70mm TB 486 CFM 4% Increase
Ported Plenum 70mm TB* 530 CFM 13.7% Increase
C&L Plenum 70mm TB 550 CFM 18% Increase
C&L Plenum 75mm TB 580 CFM 24.5% Increase

Any of the other aftermarket plenums should flow in the same neighborhood as a C&L. The upper plenum has the IAC valve attached to it but the hole is easily plugged if you don't need it. There are 2 other vacuum line points on it as well as the EGR port. Any of the holes can be easily plugged.

I have a spare stocker if you want to do some tinkering.. gimme 10 bucks + shipping and it's yours. I'll even toss in a stock 65mmTB.

I've ported my own in the past and gotten numbers competitive with C&L's plenums but it takes a lot of work. You can open the exit port a bit but there's little reason to do so. Once you see one off the car you'll understand why.

Feel free to pm me and I can give you my number and we can chat about it.

That would be amazing if i could get that from you, this is for a little v6 project of mine that might work out quite well if i can pull it off. I might be intrested in trying my hand at porting it, what metal is it made of?
