horrible idle problem..

Did you do the o2s/wires/plugs and coil at once or did you do them one at a time. I am curious which one ended up causing the problem? My money was on the O2s

it ended up being the o2's, but i wanted to changed the wire/coils/spark plugs anyway so i did it a couple days after

I'm having the same exact thing happen to one of my mustangs...a 96 GT. Strong bucking....back fireing, missing, car actually dies here and there. It scks and it's embarassing. People think I'm reving at them. I haven't figured it out yet either. I changed my plugs and it seemed to help the backfire and the bucking a little. Need to change the wires here soon and try the coil packs also.

ex-ricer's issue was his 02 sensors.. might try there first before you spend money on other things
