hey guys do you really need to wrap your headers will it help out any at all i just got some bassnai shortys for my 2002 gt

I have always been curious about that myself. Supposedly lowers the heat in the engine compartment drastically and improves performance.

probably snake oil tho

anyone use this stuff?

header wraps are "old-school" now. today nothing beats the HTC coatings for exhaust systems. header wrap on a steet-car can and will retain moister and cause them to rust-out quicker. so I'd say don't do-it.
