Default help question

I'm installing a Accufab plenum with 75mm throtle body tonight. I have everything bolted on and tightened up but I cant get the stock Ford rubber intake inlet tube to go over the throtle body. Do any of you have a 75mm throtlebody and are using the stock inlet? If so how did you get it to stretch over the new larger throtle body? Thanks

Id try taking a heat gun to the intake tube to soften it up and aid in stretching it.

Good sugestion,I have a hair dryer at home. I hate to get it to hot and melt it. I tryed some oil over the end but still to small and tight to fit over the larger throtle body. I will try the heating method tomorrow,if it works I will let you know. Thanks

Put the bottom park of the tube around the bottom of the t/b to start. Then take some pliers and pull the little tabs to stretch out the tube and slide it on.

tube is on now,car idles and runs good, seems to accelerate harder above 3000 rpms now. I would recommend the intake elbow and throtle body by Accufab to anyone considering this.
