BBK H and Header combo...any good?
ive been lookin around at h and x pipes and headers and so far im wanting to go with the catted BBK H-pipe with ceramic BBK full-length headers. anyone have this combo that can vouch for its gains? or at least anyone heard?

I originally got the bbk lt's with an xpipe but hated the raspy weird clicking noise, so i swapped it out with an o/r H pipe and I love it. I have a borla for the catback and I love the sound. It's not very loud, but when I get on it, it sounds gorgeous

I dunno if headers make it quieter or louder. I got a new midpipe with the headers and with the borla muffler, its not very loud to begin with. The only way to tell how headers change sound would be to use something like the slp X which is available for LT's and stock headers so you could use the same midpipe and catback, just different headers. Otherwise, the sound would be pretty different

Hey danny you said u have BBK LTs with a BBK shorty O/R H, what borla system is it? i ask because i want to do that header and midpipe setup with a borla stinger and i want to know how that would sound?

If you've got the money go with SLP the quality is awesome. I've got SLP longtube Headers,Freeflowing Catted X-Pipe and SLP Catback with Loudmouth II's and I luv them. Long story short you get what you pay for.I've got a bad *** exhaust sound with true performance gaines. The best of both worlds.
