definitely get the mid pipe and catback. If you get them both installed together, you will notice the difference in hp and a dramatic difference in sound. The shifteris good in the long run but not something you need to start off with. And if you dont plan on keeping your warranty(tranny specifically) then def get some new gearing

I would recommend starting out with steeda underdrive pulleys aprox 160.00 and aprox 8-10 horsepower gained at the wheels. 2. Purchase a Diablo Predator hand held tuner(can be found as low as 350.00) The tuner will not only help you gain 15-20 horsepower but will also enable you to recalibrate your speedo if you change gears (3.73-4.10 recommended) The tuner will help you eliminate error codes (check engine light) with minor mods such as installing a off road x-pipe (175.00= 10hp to the wheels) Your 02 and newer mustang has a large enough mass air flow to accomodate any mods up to 400 horsepower, don't waste your money replacing that.

i'll go with these guys.. 1st a o/r mid pipe, i got the MT o/r X and i love it, 2nd Gears (4:10's N/A 3:73's anything else) and 3rd a tune(or tuner) Gears and a tune are my next mods, and after riding in a friends cars with nothing but that, I wish I had done that first.

your very first mods should include the following!
1. Gears(3.73 or 4.10's)
2. Shifter ( I prefer pro5.0)
3. Full exhaust

PS: you don't need a maf since the good one is good til about 320 RWHP or so!
