Default new engine needed

i was wondering where the best place online is to order a new 4.6 l with fordged internals would be, or any website that sells engines for my 1998 gt...thanks so much

You are in cali, MMR would be much closer to you. I have read a few negative threads about them lately though, but most people seem to be very happy.

+1 for VT. I've seen numerous posts lately about guys getting screwed by various companies. VT is one of the very few that I have not heard any of that about. I plan on getting my parts from them later this year.

I heard that VT is backed-up for many months.

You can try DSS too. They have motors ready to ship. They make great pushrods I have heard but have had some issues with the modulars.

Did you even read that thread dude? VT is an awesome company, and they did nothing wrong. Anyone who actually reads the whole post can see that.

I never said that VT sucks, I was just trying to make him aware that they are backed up and if he wanted to go through them that it would definately take some time, thats all... Relax

Id say the top choices are VT, MPH, Steen Racing, or MMR. I think MMR would be best for you since they are in cali. http://www.modularmustangracing.com/

All i gotta say is wow! That guy waiting for the engine needs to chill out and relax...VT started out bad but came out on top as they didnt do anything wrong.

Dont forget Boss330. Al Pappito builds some mean shortblocks, and hes an all around great guy.
