I was wondering, Since I need to flush the tranny (Tremec) in my early 01 GT
how am I going to fill the tranny up? I have heard that the fill neck on this trans. is under the shifter... But... How do I get the shifter off? Thanks :icon_smur

 

the plastic covering pulls right up, and then its four bolts to get the shifter off. I think this is much easier than trying to fight gravity to fill it up through the fill tube :tard:

 

I use a Tranny fluid pump i bought from Pep boys years ago, It holds 1 quart at a time. and has a 2ft clear tube, it like a grease gun and you just put the tube in and just push the pump rod and it fills it. It works great for rear end fills too.
