Question suspesion question

hello guys...im new to this forum and would like some opinions...I have a 2000GT and will be lowering it and changing the struts/shocks. I would like to lower approx 1.5inches and would like to maintain somewhat of a comfortabel ride (not to stiff). I am considering Eibach Pro-Kit with Koni Sports Struts/Shocks. Please provide me with you thoughts on that combo and any suggestions you may have. Also, would you suggest I get c/c plates. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

I had the EIbach Pros on my car with Tokico shocks/struts. The ride quality was excellent. Im not sure how they will go with the Koni shocks/struts. Ive never had any experience with them. Im not sure if you will need caster camber plates with that setup. Good luck to you

well...Eibach themselves say that C/C plates are not needed with the Pro-Kit springs. Eibach Pro-kit will lower the car 1.5" at all corners and ride quility will still be good.

I did a lot of suspension looking before. Eibach Pro kit would be fine, and I suggest the Bullit Shocks/Struts. These are the tokico struts/shocks.

I've been told dont get the CC plates, and then get it alligned, then if you need the CC plates get them. Chances are you wont need them.
I would get some subframe connectors at the same time.

Odds are your not gonna need CC plates if you keep the drop at 1.5. H&R sports are very similar to Eib. pro kit. same spring rates, drop etc. As far as Shocks/Struts, Billstein is the way to go. A bit pricey but lifetime warranty.

BTW, I may be selling my H&R sport springs soon. They've been on the car for less than a year. I bought them 'cause I have a rather large rim size(19) and was afraid that with an aggressive drop it would 'cause problems. No problems but I want a lower drop. A deeper drop and the correct shocks/struts I'll be fine. Well, I just ordered the H&R Super Sports and once they get here I don't have anything to do with the Sport springs so if you/anyone wants them for a hell of a price let me know.
