Oh you're stationed at the airforce base? I was in Altus for 4th of july, staying in my gf's grandma's cabin at the lake near the quartz mountains.

I live in Arlington though (inbetween dallas and ft worth) it was only a 3hr drive up there and I saw only one trooper the whole way so I was going 80-90 up there

 

Yea I'm stationed here. My dad lives in Arlington. Its never troopers around when I drive down that way... Only been down there like 2 times though.

 

Yeah, I talked to some cops I know and they said there's no need for troopers on 287, they focus mainly on drug smuggling truckers on way out west I-20. (I work for QuikTrip, that's how I know cops.. Gets me out of speeding tickets)
