Default Jlt Rai Installed

Well I finally got around to taking some pictures of the JLT RAI I installed a week ago. I know some say it helps with a few ponies and some say that it doesnt, but all I know is that it really looks good and you can definitely hear it pulling in some air. I took my time installing it and it is a tight fit but havent had any real rubbing problems, etc. It's painted to match the true blue color of the car of course. Enjoy.

JLT also supplies a "heat" shield for the filter. Did u get one with the kit? if not, you should request one free of charge.

Yes I got the heatshield also included, but after talking with Jay (owner of JLT) at great length about different things, he said that it really doesnt affect the performance of the RAI to have it on. I may put it on sometime, but for now it's fun seeing that big air filter...

I'm so close to buying one. Does it really help? Is the straight one better than the one with the fenderwall mount

Well I have a full exhaust set up so I think I have fairly good air flow.
